A patient with a life-limiting illness has the right to live his or her final days comfortable;  to the fullest extent possible, and to experience a dignified and peaceful death.  Hospice services are designated to support the patient's and family's decision for the patient to remain at home or in a homelike setting in the final stage of life.

Our founders, Rose Gravois, BSN and Kevin Butler, NFA have more than 25 years of healthcare experience.

Cardinal Hospice was established on June 25, 2007 and is locally owned and operated by the owners.  Both have extensive knowledge and experience in managing and caring for the terminally ill and elderly population of Louisiana.

Our Mission is to provide comprehensive coordinated care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses and to their families and to support them in the process of death and bereavement.

Our Mission

Our Goal of the hospice is to provide palliative care that addresses the physical, psychological, and spriritual dimensions of service for the terminally ill as an integrated whole.
